Roxie vs Xavier
Koffing LV16 vs Warpath LV18, razor shell, assurance, razor shell, tackle crits me but I survive with 9HP. I switch to Archangel. she heals koffing, air cutter, tackle, air cutter, tackle, air cutter, assurance, roost, tackle, air cutter kills finally!
Whirlepede LV 18 vs Archangel LV18, pursuit, air cutter, venoshock activates my berry and then I use roost, then venoshock, air cutter, quick attack crit kills! Arch angel wins it for me and gets to LV19.

I receive the Toxic Badge. and get TM Venoshock. Then a random dude tells me to go to the pokemon studios. I go there and talk forever and see my movie I make. I grab two soda pops and I'm given lemonades. I go back and help Roxie and Magneto with a Team Plasma battle.

Grunt:
Patrat V14 vs Polaris LV17, razor leaf crit kills for the win.

We get HM Cut and sadly now I have to teach it to some member of my current team for a while. I teach it to Polaris. The rest of Team Plasma goes and runs to Route 20. We chase after. I find another one.

Grunt:
Purrloin LV14 vs Polaris LV17, bug bite kills.

We finish helping chase them down and they mention a boat and disappear. We head back to the Virbank City and get to the docks. We head to Castelia City...

DAY 3

Virbank City gym leader Roxie is arguing with a ship captain. Then I find a poke toy, antidote, burn heal, x accuracy at virbank complex. Then I have my first encounter its a Pidove LV12. I catch it and name it Archangel.

I go and train. Warpath goes to LV15, Polaris to LV15 and learns Razor Leaf, and Archangel LV16 leans Air Cutter. Then I find silk scarf and a great ball. I go back to Virbank Complex.

Worker:
Patrat LV12, Elekid LV12 vs Polaris LV15, razor leaf, leer, bug bite kills patrat. swift, razor leaf, thundershock, razor leaf, kills elekid. Polaris gets to LV16

Youngster:
Patrat LV13 vs Warpath LV16, water gun, bide, water gun kills. Warpath gets to LV17 and learns Razor Shell.

What?! Warpath evolves into Dewott!

Worker:
Riolu LV12, Lilipup LV12 vs Archangel LV 16, endure, air cutter, feint, quick attack kills, and then air cutter, bite, air cutter, odor sleuth and quick attack kills again.

I find ether, TM Rock Smash, and train Polaris outside the gym to LV17. I go back and heal and then put Warpath in the front of the team.

Roughneck:
Grimer LV14, Koffing LV14 vs Warpath LV17, razor shell, pound razor shell takes care of grimer. Then razor shell, assurance, razor shell takes care of koffing and he gets to LV18.

Guitarist:
Venipede LV14, Koffing LV14, vs Archangel LV17, air cutter kills venipede in a second. Then air cutter, assurance, air cutter, assurance and a quick attack take out koffing.

 I go out and finish training  Archangel to LV18 and it learns roost. Then I go back and heal. I give oran berries to the whole team. I put Warpath in front to fight the gym leader. I head back in for my second gym badge...

GYM BATTLE

Cheren vs Xavier
Patrat LV11 vs Polaris LV11, bug bite, work up, bug bite, tackle, he uses potion, bug bite twice then kills.
Lilipup LV13 vs Polaris LV11, I switch to Warpath, work up, work up, watergun, tackletake me down to 12HP, water gun. I switch to Namor, tackle kills it immeadatly (im not surprised but the lack of switches made the choice hard). Next I send out Caliban, tackle takes him down to 3HP, bite nearly kills it probably down to 1HP. I heal with potion but the boosted tackle kills me. (NOOOOOO!) I call out Polaris with the highest defense. Takes me down to 5HP but bug bite kills! I get to the Basic Badge and TM Work Up.

That was a terrible first gym battle and now I'm down to only two mon. I go outside and get TM Return. I lay Namor and Caliban down to rest in the graveyard.

 I heal and head back out. I head to Route 20.

Hiker:
Riolu LV11 vs Polaris LV12, endure, bug bite, switch to Warpath, foresight, quick attack, water gun, quick attack, and water gun kills.

I beat up some wild mon and Polaris is LV13

Preschooler:
Psyduck LV10 vs Warpath LV13, tackle, water sport, tackle, growl and tackle kills. He gets to LV14.

Cheren shows up and warns us about dark grass and gives us pecha berries. Then I find a great ball.

Preschooler:
Lilipup LV10 vs Polaris LV13, bug bite, tackle, bug bite kills.

Find antidote and dire hit.

Nursery Aid:
Dunsparce LV11 vs Polaris LV13, bug bite, spite, bug bite, spite, bug bite kills but it used up all my PP and gets to LV44.

I run back and heal my mon.

Twins:
Sunkern LV9, Sunkern LV9 vs Warpath LV14, Polais LV14, tackle crit kills, and then bug bite kills.
I get great balls and then enter Virbank City...

DAY 2

Magneto vs Xavier
Snivy LV8 vs Warpath LV9, tackle, tackle, I switch to Caliban, leer, tackle, bite, tackle, down to 8HP, bite. I switch to Polaris, leer, leer, tackle, tackle, tackle take out snivy. Polaris gets to LV7.

Next the ranch people show up and give each of us a potion. But they are missing one of their herdier. So we go and investigate. My first encounter is... Azurill LV5. Not what I was hoping for but its my only chance. I catch him and name him Namor.

Lass:
Purrloin LV6 vs Polaris LV7, tackle, growl, tackle, scratch, assist, string shot, tackle, scratch, and tackle kills. It reaches LV8 and learns Bug Bite
Sewaddle LV6 vs Polaris LV8, tackle, bug bite, stringshot, bug bite and reaches LV9 too.

Janitor:
Lillipup LV6 vs Warpath LV9, water gun, tackle, water gun, leer, water gun.
Mareep LV6 vs Warpath LV9, I switch to Caliban. Thinder wave, growl, bite, tackle, para, tackle, bite, growl, bite and then switch to Polaris. tackle, and finally bug bite kills! Luckily I didn't lose anyone. Warpath gets to LV10.

I go back and heal and then Magneto give me Paraylisis Heal.

Youngster:
Patrat Lv6 vs Caliban LV7, bite, tackle, bite, flinch, bite kills and the he reaches LV8 and learns bide
Psyduck Lv6 vs Caliban LV8, I switch to Polaris LV9, growl, bug bite, watersport, and bug bite kills.

I find x attack. I can see the dog ahead. I switch to Warpath in front. I find herdier and there is a team plasma grunt there. He throws TM Frustration and runs away. I save herdier. I stay and train a little bit. Cobalion gets to LV10, Warpath LV10, Warpath LV11 and he learns water sport. I heal and go back to Flocessy Town to train with Alder.

Youngster:
Pansear LV9 vs Warpath LV11, water gun, leer, water gun.

School Kid:
Pansage LV9 vs Warpath LV11, tackle, leer, tackle, scratch, tackle. Warpath gets to LV12.

I go out and heal and then get a medal box. I heal and put Polaris in front to face the kids at the gym.

I enter the first gym and I'm given x defend, and a fresh water.

Youngster:
Partrat LV9, Lillipup LV9 vs Polaris LV10, bug bite, leer, bug bite and then bug bite, tackle, bug bite gets it to LV11.

Lass:
Lillipup LV9, Patrat LV9 vs Warpath LV12,  water gun, leer, bug bite kills the first and then water gun, leer, water gun, tackle. Warpath reaches LV13. I go back and heal and then re-enter the gym again. I put Polaris in front to try to take out the front mon...

GENERATION 5 NUZLOCKE BEGINS!

So after a close call at the end of Heart Gold, we have begun a new travel in the Unova region! As usual you can check the main page for the rules that I follow. One key rule difference from the last nuzlocke and this one is that I put the rules to Set on battle style. This rule will take away my ability to switch between pokemon in battles. Since that rule change makes the nuzlocke even more challenging I'm allowing myself to use items in battle. Also the nicknames will be X-Men themed this time. That being said lets begin with this new challenge.

I begin my new adventure as Xavier in the new region. My trainer code is 30899 which means I get to pick the water starter this time! It's my first nuzlocke with the water starter. I talk to mom then talk to my rival Magneto. we walk to the back of town and get our first mon. MIne is Oshawott and I name him Warpath! Magneto gets snivy, then we battle

Magneto vs Xavier
Snivy LV5 vs Warpath LV5, tackle, tail whip, leer, tackle, leer, tackle, tackle, tackle kills snivy. Tehn Warpath jumps to LV6.

I heal and get running shoes from mom and town map. I grab some 5 poke balls and 1 potion.

I get to Route 19. My first encounter is Patrat LV4 I catch it and name it Caliban.

 Warpath gets to LV7 and water gun at LV8. Caliban gets to LV5, then LV6 and learns bite. I get to Floccesy Town, I get a potion. I talk to Alder and he tells me to go to route 20 to see Magneto.

Youngster:
Patrat LV4 vs Caliban LV6, three bites kill.

Lass:
Purrloin LV4 vs Warpath LV8, water gun, scratch, water gun kills

I heal up  my team and head to Route 20. my first encounter is... Sewaddle LV2. I catch and name her Polaris.

I go back and heal my new mon and switch train with Polaris. At the end of the training Polaris is LV6, Warpath LV9, and Caliban LV7. Back to Route 20.

Youngster:
Patrat LV4 vs Polaris LV6, tackle, leer, tackle kills.

I find a pokeball and reach Flocessy Ranch...
